During May I will be raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis by setting a 65 Roses Challenge. My challenge is to take 65 portraits of friends and family over next month, commencing 24 April 2014. This is the day my beautiful son Myles, who has CF, will be exactly 4 months old.
It’s an ambitious challenge, particularly given the hectic nature of my life at present as a mum to three gorgeous young children – Sophia, Elara and Myles. But it is a challenge I am excited to be taking.
I’m asking for your collaboration, as a friend, to participate in this challenge. I need friends who are willing to pout, pose, smile, laugh, sit, jump, run, be still, be brave, be real, be inspired and create a portrait that captures YOUR moment of presence.
From each sitting or session, one photo will be chosen that will be loaded to the Moments of Presence blog. You can decide if you want to be identified or be anonymous. The idea is that you will be able to share your portrait with your family and friends, and at the same time raise awareness within your own networks about Cystic Fibrosis.
If you love your portraits, you will be able to obtain digital copies of all your session images by simply donating to my everyday heroes fundraising page:
All money raised will go to Cystic Fibrosis Victoria.
Unable to participate in my challenge? Well donate anyway!! Your sponsorship will make a difference and will help support the wonderful work undertaken by Cystic Fibrosis Victoria.
